A unique space for Australia’s distinguished guests

Moreton Hire has delivered a unique event space for distinguished guests at a reception hosted by the Governor-General, the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, on 21st February at Admiralty House.

Guests, including the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors, enjoyed arguably the best views in Australia on the lawns of Admiralty House overlooking the Sydney Harbour.

Housing the event was the contemporary curved-roof Arcum Marquee by Moreton Hire, which looked striking harbourside at Kirribilli. The internal fit out centered on the Commonwealth royal blue tones, with linen, furniture and florals completing the look.

Roger Motteram, Moreton Hire COO, said their Sydney team placed an acute attention to detail on delivering the space, ensuring a premium finish with both the marquee and the internal fit out.

“Given the calibre of guests visiting for the G20 summit, we were committed to delivering a world-class finish for Admiralty House and their guests.”

Admiralty House has entertained a plethora of world leaders, so it was fitting the Arcum Marquee was selected as it’s the premium choice for corporate events with the roof offering such a unique finish with the option of solid or glass walls.

“It was a great way to welcome the G20 as Australia commences its presidency of the G20 in Brisbane this year,” says Motteram.
