AIME Hosted Buyer Education Program powered by PCMABy Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia, 17 December, 2015 AIME Hosted Buyer Education Program powered by PCMA The Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) has partnered with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) offering Hosted Buyers unprecedented education sessions at AIME 2016, 23 – 24 February 2016, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Karen Bolinger, CEO, Melbourne Convention Bureau – owner of AIME, is delighted to offer Hosted Buyers an education program powered by PCMA – a recognised definitive authority in education, business networking and community engagement for leaders in the global meetings, convention and business events industry. “We listened to feedback of 2015 Hosted Buyers who were keen to explore education opportunities, but were kept busy with site inspections and exhibitor appointments. So for the first time, Hosted Buyers will enjoy a dedicated education program the day prior to AIME,” said Ms Bolinger. Sherrif Karamat, Chief Operating Officer at PCMA will give the opening keynote presentation, sharing experience from his 20+ years in the meetings and convention industry. His session will focus on disruptors and external environmental factors that are profoundly impacting the business events industry. “We are excited to deliver an education program tailored to the needs of AIME’s Hosted Buyers. Event planners will learn how industry experts are interpreting economic changes, and Australian and international speakers will design solutions specifically for the business events community. “There is great variety in the program and the sessions will provide tangible examples that Hosted Buyers can take back to their teams. The content has been thoughtfully designed and will be of practical value to the Hosted Buyers,” concluded Mr Karamat. Applications to be a Hosted Buyer at AIME 2016 are invited from those responsible for managing, organising or influencing business events, business travel, conferences, meetings, exhibitions or incentives, from Australia and around the world. www.aime.com.au Source: Zadro
