Construction & Mining Equipment Industry Group (CMEIG) and Exhibitions and Trade Fairs (ETF), today announce Australia’s first industry owned multi-disciplinary, multi-event platform for the earth moving and infrastructure construction sector will be held in November 2018.

The newly designed National Construction Equipment Convention (NCEC) builds on the success of three biennial state-based shows, delivering a national show, for the industry by the industry.

After years of internal development together with CMEIG and ETF, the newly designed NCEC will bring together the national construction industry reflecting the growth and evolution of the industry whilst still honouring its background and history.

With the Australian government set to heavily invest in infrastructure in the next 15 years, there is no better time to bring the industry together than at this national event.

Strategic partners and industry bodies will be brought together under the one roof through concurrent events and conferences.

In addition to an interactive show floor display, business opportunities will be introduced including an Opening Ceremony, Business Leaders Breakfast with a government presence, international pavilions and a dynamic ‘Tech Zone’.

“We are no longer a state based trade exhibition,” said Ali Mead, Event Director at Exhibitions and Trade Fairs. “NCEC will be much more to the industry and to our clients. The rebrand as well as redevelopment of the show will set NCEC apart from other events, offering exhibitors, visitors and industry bodies more opportunities to interact and do business”.

The official launch of NCEC will take place on the Thursday 9th November 2018. For more information on getting involved or should you have any questions, please contact:
