AOG AND SUBSEA AUSTRALSIA CONFERENCES MERGEBy Diversified Communications, 13 August, 2013Papers and presentations are being sought for the Subsea Australasia Conference and the Australasian Oil & Gas Conference (AOG) which will for the first time be merged at AOG 2014. The merging of conferences will enhance the delegate experience by offering more content and a greater range of sessions with subsea streams incorporated into the Australasian Oil and Gas Conference held 19-21 February. Event Director, Bill Hare said the Subsea Australia Conference, a joint initiative between Subsea Energy Australia, Subsea UK and the Society for Underwater Technology will cease to exist in name only. “The new conference format at AOG 2014 will connect professionals with a greater range of experts sharing their knowledge and expertise than ever before. “In addition to conference streams on Australian industry participation, safety, resourcing, operations and maintenance, marine supply base and logistics and productivity, there will be dedicated Subsea streams within the AOG conference. These will explore new advances, challenges and solutions facing field development, subsea pipelines, FLNG, well management and oceans and sediments,” said Hare. The conference will cover topical content from case studies to in-field experiences, new techniques and lessons learned. The deadline for conference paper submissions is 16 September 2013. Australia’s largest oil and gas event, AOG will take place at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 19-21 February 2014.Source: Avviso for Diversified Exhibitions
