Connected Event Group has partnered with Associations Forum to deliver their inaugural Masterclass with a line-up of some of the country’s most accomplished events, marketing and association specialists.

The Masterclass has been created for Associations and the Not-for-Profit sector, one of the biggest drivers of the national business events market and to provide a skills and confidence for those on the front-line.

Founder of Connected Event Group, Libbie Ray said it was an important time to share experiences and knowledge with organisers and CEOs in this sector as they face a complex and new events and marketing landscape.

“This collaboration with Associations Forum comes at a critical time for the Association and NFP sector as they face decisions about how to reimagine their community engagement strategies and their events programs. “She said.

Commenting on the current operating environment, John Peacock said: “Every organisation that relies on events to bring its community together must continue to evolve its member services.”

“Just as the workforce now demands more flexible workplaces, Association members will expect their representative and professional Associations to offer more choices in the way they engage and share knowledge.” He said.

Over the past 14 months, each of the panel members has been on a steep learning curve – all have successfully evolved and innovated. They will share their experience on the key lessons and what can help Associations and NFPs to flourish.

“Covid has changed the opportunity landscape especially for Associations and NFPs. One challenge is creating a fit-for-purpose event and then there is the often-daunting challenge of getting the marketing right.” Ms Ray said. “We’ll have a lot of the answers in this Masterclass. “Associations Forum is a huge community and we are honoured to be helping the organisation help its Members build skills and acquire the confidence needed to refresh and refocus their important work.” Ms Ray said.
