These are some of the findings of the 2014 Trade Fair Industry Review, which the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) has now published. Covering 72 pages, the review details developments in the trade fair industry in 2014 and provides an outlook for the future. It also reports on the work of AUMA in its role as the association representing the German trade fair industry. The chapter “Exhibitions in Germany“ focusses on developments within the industry and the role played by foreign participants. The chapter “Exhibitions abroad“ examines the market situation around the world and provides an overview of the situation of German trade fairs abroad. The review also reports on the lobbying undertaken by AUMA and the research and education work carried out by the industry. A separate chapter contains 17 charts summarising the trade fair industry’s statistics.
