EEAA Events Program

The EEAA delivers a year-round program of events that explore key issues facing the industry, including an annual conference and awards night, regular seminars, workshops and member forums, as well as frequent networking opportunities to help build business and peer-to-peer relationships between members and, ultimately, a stronger exhibition and event community.

OUR FLAGSHIP EVENTS

EEAA Conference

Each year, the EEAA delivers an annual conference for its members and the exhibition and event community. The program delivers insights, advice and commentary from leading national and international speakers on all sectors of the industry and attracts prominent business, industry and government leaders. The Conference provides a platform for attendees to hear about the latest business trends and opinions and make valuable connections both within and outside the EEAA member community.

EEAA Awards for Excellence

The EEAA Awards for Excellence are where the industry’s leading event organisers, venues, suppliers, teams and individuals shine. The annual program recognises and celebrates the best in the industry – those who have excelled in their field and are beacons of innovation, passion, leadership and commitment.

EEAA Leaders Forum

Once a year, the industry’s CEOs and senior directors gather to discuss issues of pressing importance. The Forum serves as a high-level thought leadership forum which engages leaders from the Organiser, Association Organiser, Venue and Supplier network in discussions which will shape the direction of the industry. The annual Leaders Forum is EEAA’s main event where the most senior people in Member companies meet. The top decision makers and owners will be in one room at one time – there’s no better forum for making an impact with those who make decisions.

EEAA Global Exchange

September 2017 was EEAA’s inaugural Global Exchange where we spotlight the Australasian business events sector and “look outwards” for more opportunities to grow. This year, we were honoured to welcome two exhibition and event industry global leaders – CEO, Kai Hattendorf, and Regional Manager for Asia/Pacific, Mark Cochrane, from The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) – to Sydney for a series of high-level industry, government and business forums across three days.

EEAA Young Stars events

The EEAA Young Stars and Leaders Table series is just one of the professional development opportunities offered by the Young Stars Program. It’s a platform for the youngest members of the Association to share their views, ideas and experiences, and provides exclusive opportunities for these future leaders to learn from and be mentored by the industry’s best.

EEAA Strategic Partners Forum

This is an annual event that honours the contribution of the Association’s Platinum and Gold members. Held over lunch, the Strategic Partners Forum is one of the EEAA’s most popular events for the year, providing an exclusive, invitation-only opportunity for the Association’s greatest supporters to hear from leading political analysts and commentators on the state of play in Canberra and around the country, and network with their peers.
