The Leaders Forum is an opportunity to take a step back from day-to-day management and to focus on issues and opportunities that are having the greatest influence on our sector.

We have a distinguished line-up of presenters who will examine and comment upon our key themes: workplace diversity, the power of “curation” and insights.

On stage we will have global companies including Explori, Salesforce and Airbnb as well as our own Members who operate nationally and internationally. This will provide for very robust discussion from all parts of the industry.

Explori will share key visitor and exhibitor trends around the world from their wide-ranging research. This is the first time these insights will be presented in Australia.

The “share” economy has caused unparalleled change in the market place so we are excited to put the spotlight on the extraordinary story of Airbnb. Airbnb has successfully disrupted the travel accommodation sector and created B2C engagement with outstanding results. There is a lot to be learnt from their rise.

The Salesforce Global Tour is another fascinating case study of the power of event “curation” and we’re pleased to welcome Salesforce to the EEAA stage for the first time.

We’ll also hear from event creators, branding specialists and event tech companies about best practice and integration trends. Technology now has a major influence on how we create event experiences, how we engage customers and how we measure results. These will be most valuable discussions.

Finally, business success is fundamentally linked to how we manage our talent pool so we look forward to hearing our presenters on HR practice and gender and cultural diversity.

For the second year, our Leaders Forum is being held to coincide with Global Exhibitions Day, an important advocacy initiative for our sector world-wide. We are proud to be the country where this campaign kicks-off.
