The Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) will offer visitors to this year’s Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) a day’s complimentary web streaming for their event if a new booking is made and confirmed at the Centre within a year.

The event can be held on any future date, subject to availability.

The complimentary web streaming package, which is valued at up to $10,000, will include:

• A 9-hour WebCast;
• A 10-hour WebCast Technician;
• A Camera Operator;
• Content uploaded to the web;
• IntraCast – Available via ACC in-house Intranet;
• WebCast – Available via World Wide Web;
• Video On Demand – Available for 7 days post event;
• Content on USB or hard drive;
• Complete analytics report.

The Centre was the first in Australia to install web streaming capabilities in all its major meeting venues and continues to lead the market in web streaming services.

Its web streaming facility is managed in-house and this means a streamlined service and competitive pricing.

Adelaide Convention Centre, Director Marketing & Sales, Simon Burgess said web streaming allowed event organisers to transform an event into online experience, expand the audience and capture valuable content for future communications and marketing.

“Web streaming allows delegates to participate in sessions from anywhere in the world via remote access, including active participation such as asking questions, voting and completing questionnaires,” said Mr Burgess.

“An increasing number of events are now becoming hybrid and combining a live audience of delegates with a virtual delegation that attends online.

“Technology cannot replace the experience of attending an event but it does allow for greater participation and engagement.”

The Centre’s built-in web streaming service increased participation at the recent Grains Research and Development Corporation’s (GRDC) annual Research Update Forum by more than fifteen per cent.

The Forum enabled virtual delegates to view live speaker presentations from their desktop computers and laptops by taking advantage of the Centre’s media streaming website.
