EXPONET EXPANDS ITS EVENT SERVICES BUSINESS THROUGH ACQUISITION OF BUTLERS EVENTS & STAGINGBy ExpoNet, 20 December, 2016ExpoNet has announced that the company has further broadened its business offering to the event industry through the acquisition of Butlers Events & Staging. ExpoNet and Butlers have worked together successfully for a number of years, however this move will provide clients from each organisation access to exciting, complementary products that will be beneficial to their projects. The integration is expected to streamline processes and create greater efficiencies. Butlers has been providing an extensive range of event equipment to industry professionals since 1971. Its products and services include a range of temporary structures, staging, grandstand seating and scaffolding products. Delivering on major events and projects such as the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, Byron Bay Blues Festival and the City to Surf, Butlers has built a sound reputation for structures, staging, seating and creative event solutions. Managing Director of Butlers Events & Staging, Tony Butler, said “The ability to be part of a company like ExpoNet who has significant operations around the country, high level fit out skills, contemporary furniture, audiovisual, signage, styling and a range of other services will mean we can enhance our offering to our clients.” Tony Butler will remain with the business after the acquisition and will provide ongoing operational input. ExpoNet’s Managing Director, Shaun Rae, said “The acquisition of Butlers presents an exciting opportunity for ExpoNet to broaden and strengthen our event services division. Butlers’ range complements ExpoNet’s existing event products and services business and provides increased synergies, scale and diversification. Butlers’ experience and equipment offering for outdoor events, concerts, and many other projects combined with ExpoNet’s product range, design and construction skills, will provide a stronger platform to meet the needs of customers of both companies.
