EXPONET’S FOCUS ON INNOVATION PAYS OFF AT THE EEAA AWARDS

By ExpoNet, 27 November, 2013

The exhibition and event supplier was awarded the Best Custom Stand at the gala event held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The custom stand project was delivered by ExpoNet on behalf of Belaz – global manufacturer of haulage and earthmoving equipment.  ExpoNet exceeded expectations with the scope and scale of this custom stand which was a focal point of the Asia-Pacific International Mining Exhibition (AIMEX) held at the Sydney Showground in August 2013.

Jim Delahunty, CEO, ExpoNet was thrilled with the win saying it was a wonderful way to end a year that saw the company focus on innovation and partnership whilst servicing more than 500 events in over 120 venues nationwide.

“The past 12 months have been incredibly busy and demanding and this award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and the strength of our network of branches in Sydney, Brisbane/Gold Coast and Melbourne,” said Delahunty.

The Best Custom Stand category was judged by an independent panel of industry experts using a number of criteria, including the company’s creative response to the client brief, details on the timeframe of the project, demonstration of innovation and corporate social responsibility.

Delahunty said the company was now preparing for a challenging year ahead in 2014.

“It’s a wonderful honour to be recognised by a judging panel of industry experts, and we are looking forward to an exciting and challenging year ahead. The Australian events industry has an opportunity for evolution and innovation in the coming years and we look forward to servicing exhibitions and events in this changing landscape,” he said.
