FOOD AND ENERGY SHOWS AMONG THE TOP LINE-UP OF

EVENTS TO KICK-OFF WINTER SEASON

 

June is another exciting month for exhibitions and events across Australia. Shows scheduled in the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) Calendar include a wide range of consumer and trade shows in food, gaming, energy and advanced manufacturing.

 

The Good Food & Wine Show Melbourne celebrated its 15th Birthday over the June long weekend with hundreds of local and international exhibitors. Show highlights include the Dan Murphy’s Beer and Cider Hall, and Masterclasses with celebrity chefs.

 

Other long-standing shows to be delivered this month include the Melbourne and Adelaide Boat Shows, the Melbourne Mind Body Spirit Festival, and the Sydney Hair Expo. Oz Comic-Con also continues its Australian tour and will be in Melbourne at the end of the month.

 

Opening tomorrow, EEAA 2014 Most Outstanding Marketing Campaign Awards for Excellence winner, National Media, will hold their Cake Bake and Sweets Show for the second year. Targeted to those devoted to the world of baking and the art of cake decorating, the show will include celebrity demos, classes, and interactive workshops.

 

Trade shows this month include the Australian Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition, the Traders Electrical Show and Furnishing in Focus 2015.

 

Events this month demonstrates the span of the exhibition and events industry in Australia, with shows contributing to business in all major cities. The variety of shows this month highlights the far-reaching effect of exhibitions and events in several key industries in the Australian Business Economy.
