TOP MARKETERS HEADLINE AT EEAA 2013 CONFERENCE IN SYDNEY NEXT TUESDAY

EEAA Chief Executive, Joyce DiMascio  has announced a top line-up of marketing talent for the EEAA 2013 Conference to be held next Tuesday, November 26. The conference is open to the whole events sector.

“We are thrilled to have secured top names from the marketing industry – all part of our commitment to promote the Power of Exhibitions. We have never had marketing speakers of this calibre.” she said.

“We’ll be exploring the challenge of how to get marketing strategists and planners to include exhibitions in their clients’ marketing plans.”

Tim Burrowes, Content Director and Founding Editor of Mumbrella; Al Crawford, Executive Planning Director at Clemenger BBDO; Scott Davis, Head of Strategy at MJW; and Harvey Stockbridge, CEO, Informa Exhibitions Australia will offer their insights into how the industry can get a bigger share of the marketing dollar.

We’ll also be looking at latest trends in data-driven marketing and what the industry must do to remain compliant when privacy laws change next year.”

Jodie Sangster, CEO of ADMA will address the topic of Data Driven Marketing Trends and ADMA lawyer, Daad Soufi will run a workshop on Compliance and the New Privacy Laws.

Also in the program, we will hear about the “fine line” walked by Exhibition Directors in their complex stakeholder and partner world.

Paul Baker, Reed Mining Events; Minnie Constan, Exhibition Manager, Fine Food Expos, Diversified Exhibitions; and Tony Francis, Exhibitions Director, Informa  Exhibitions will discuss the show delivery against a backdrop of highly diverse stakeholders including government agencies, associations, as well as foreign embassies and Governments.

Join us for a day of high-level professional development as EEAA addresses the trends and policies impacting the exhibition and events industry today.

Later that evening the industry will gather in the Parkside Ballroom at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre for the 2013 Awards for Excellence gala event, the last gala dinner at the SCEC.
