It’s fast. It’s loud. It captivates the crowd.

Netball is a high-paced sport where split second decisions can be the difference between winning and losing.

On court, two teams of seven players contest exciting, fast and skillful matches, with the result based on goals – the team that can score the most.

It’s hard enough passing the ball from player to player within three seconds, as relentless defenders try to intercept.

It’s another challenge shooting for goal into a 3.05m high ring without the added pressure of that three seconds and the crowd going wild.

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and Coomera Indoor Sports Centre will be the venues for a suspenseful all-female competition at GC2018.

Fans will generate a thrilling atmosphere as 12 of the world’s best national teams vie for Commonwealth rule.

With four captivating quarters of end-to end action each match, spectators will witness sporting entertainment like nothing else.

The men’s and women’s Basketball competition will be staged at magnificent indoor arenas in Cairns, Townsville and the Gold Coast, enabling fans far and wide to experience Basketball at its best.

Each competing nation will be represented by up to 12 players rotating in this on-court battle for Commonwealth supremacy.

Amongst them will be some of the world’s best players ready to display their talents defending, rebounding, dribbling, dunking, shooting and scoring.
