Greater China Travel Mission 17By Industry and Stakeholder News, 10 August, 2017Seller applications are open until Wednesday 16 August for the Greater China Travel Mission (GCTM) to be held in Guangzhou from 11 – 14 December. GCTM provides a forum for Australian tourism businesses to engage with approximately 70 key Chinese buyers and establish business links through a scheduled appointment program. The GCTM buyers are end decision makers from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan who actively sell Australia as a preferred long-haul destination to Chinese travellers.The event will also provide opportunities for Australian suppliers to learn more about travel trends in the Greater China region. GCTM will:Introduce new products and itineraries suitable for holiday makers travelling in tailor-made tour packages and FIT tours.Enhance Chinese speaking markets knowledge of Australian product experiences.Enhance Australian travel trade knowledge of various markets, product experiences and Chinese business practices.Provide a practical means for the Chinese speaking travel industry to showcase Australian travel and tourism product experiences.Provide a platform for the Chinese speaking markets and Australian travel industry to develop close business relationships.Increase awareness and enhance the image of Australia in the Greater China Region.Reinforce Australia’s position as an exciting travel destination.Source: Industry and Stakeholder News
