The Gold Coast Midyear Caravan and Camping Expo and Home and Outdoor Living Show has moved to cater more for this evolving market with the introduction of a Holiday and Tourism area in the main pavilion at the Gold Coast Turf Club. The pavilion has been a popular part of the event in recent years with all sorts of products for people wanting to build or renovate their home and the organisers have always allocated a part of that pavilion for interactive and learning displays. This year it will be all about self drive holidays across Northern New South Wales and into Queensland. Interesting destinations such as Winton and Outback Queensland that was heavily featured on breakfast television recently is sure to attract a lot of interest. Regional tourism specialists are looking forward to meeting Gold Coasters at the event to showcase the latest and greatest holiday options through a jam packed speakers and video program as well as giving people the opportunity to win some great holiday prizes. “We have more displays than ever before with the very latest in caravans, camper trailers, motor homes, 4x4s as well as massive displays on all sorts of motoring and caravanning accessories. In the main pavilion there will be the Tourism Showcase plus dozens of companies with products for building and renovating”.
