Holidays bring Hi-5 to Royal ICC

By Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia, 1 July, 2015

Sure to be top of many kids must-do lists these school holidays is the brand new Australian show from the hit children’s entertainment group Hi -5, on stage at the Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC) in Brisbane today.

Hundreds of hyped young children and their parents will converge on the Royal ICC for two shows as part of the much-anticipated Hi-5 House of Dreams stage tour.

The Hi-5 House of Dreams tour gives audiences an invitation to the most exciting “slumber party” ever.

There’s not much sleeping but lots of singing and dancing and adventure when everyone’s favourite puppet Chats takes control of Hi-5’s dreams and makes their dreams come true.

This interactive and energetic show will have audiences totally immersed in the world of dreams.

Royal ICC General Manager Venue Sales and Marketing Sally Pulford said attracting the high profile Hi-5 tour was a coup for the venue.

“Children’s shows are perennially popular especially during the school holidays and they attract large crowds,” said Ms Pulford.

“Hi-5 continues to be one of Australia’s most successful children’s acts so it is very exciting to be hosting the group for the first time.

“Having Hi-5 here puts the Royal ICC on the Australian children’s entertainment circuit – a lucrative events market,” she said.

Since opening in March, 2013 the Royal ICC has held more than 300 events and has had the honour of hosting Her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal (Princess Anne) at the 26th Commonwealth Agricultural Conference and Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Queensland Real Estate Agents' Summit 2015.

The Royal ICC is located 1.5km from Brisbane’s CBD at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
