Land Defence Australia Limited has announced the venue and dates for the LAND FORCES 2016 exposition.

The event will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre 6-8 September 2016.

LAND FORCES will be a comprehensive showcase of products, services and technologies for the armies of Australia, Asia and the Indo-Pacific region.

It will bring together land-defence industry leaders and senior military and government decision makers.

Held in conjunction with the Chief of Army’s Exercise hosted by the Australian Army, LAND FORCES 2016 will be further enhanced by the presence of many foreign military delegations and a schedule of conferences that will be both timely and highly informative.

The first LAND FORCES exposition in 2014 proved an unqualified success.

It attracted exhibitors and visitors from throughout the region and, indeed, from throughout the world.

A total of 464 exhibitor companies from 21 countries participated in the inaugural event.

Total attendances exceeded 10,000 over the industry-only trade days and 15 major conferences were held in conjunction with the event.

LAND FORCES 2014 attracted a total of 32 international military, industry and scientific delegations from 18 countries, including 6 Chiefs of Army.

For those in the business of doing business, the event will provide a direct conduit between major industry suppliers and key government and military decision-makers.

As such, it will provide networking and promotional opportunities not available at any other event in Australia.

Many armies of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, Australia included, are planning significant upgrades and the acquisition of new technologies.

Against this vibrant background, LAND FORCES 2016 stands as the essential access point for army and land-defence decision-makers and for military, government, scientific and industry leaders from Australia, Asia and the Indo-Pacific.
