Museum embraces new event

The Cleveland Museum has received a healthy shot in the arm after being included into the event precinct of the Cleveland Caravan Camping Boating and 4×4 Expo. Organisers of the major lifestyle expo were inspired by Redlands City Council to establish the event in Cleveland in line with Councils bid to attract more events into the bayside community.

As the event readies for its’ second outing the Museum has confirmed it will have an interesting program of working displays as a feature attraction within the expo. Blacksmiths will be working every day in a specially built timber slab workshop showing some of the skills of a bygone era and nearby there will be working machinery displays.

Freshly made scones with jam and whipped cream and cups of tea will be available as you settle in and enjoy all of that nostalgia as well as a fun and entertaining display of camp oven cooking by popular celebrity bush cook, Ranger Nick.

The Cleveland Caravan, Camping, Boating and 4×4 Expo is a major showcase of the very latest in camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes, 4x4s, boats and everything you need to explore the great outdoors.

The event runs 23rd to 25th September 2016 at the Cleveland Showgrounds with free shuttle buses running to the showgrounds from the Cleveland Railway Station. For event details and how to win over $25,000 in prizes go to
