New serviced apartments to add extra dimension to The Concourse

By Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia, 8 September, 2014

Construction of the Civic Plaza serviced apartments in Chatswood has begun providing an extra element to the city’s popular entertainment destination, The Concourse. The new apartments located directly adjacent to The Concourse at 88 Archers Street, Chatswood will provide 212 luxury serviced apartments, function rooms, tavern and boutique retail over 11 stories.

The complex will complement the offering of The Concourse providing conference delegates with an on-site accommodation option for conferences held at The Concourse. The serviced apartments will also attract people attending live performances at The Concourse and general visitors to Chatswood.

The addition of the serviced apartments to The Concourse will increase the function offering of the site and see it host larger, multi-day conferences and events that require accommodation for their attendees.

The building will complement the architecture of The Concourse and provide further connectivity through the precinct. Building work is due for completion in the next 18 months.

The Concourse is a state-of-the-art entertainment and events precinct hosting concerts, seminars, weddings as well as educational, corporate and business events of all sizes. Built as a combined arts and conference hub, The Concourse offers superb technical resources, intelligent design and excellent acoustics, making it one of the leading spaces for hire in Australia. The Concourse is a Willoughby City Council initiative managed by Century Venues.
