Sky Terrace at The Star, launches new range of event packages

As summer is set to hit Sydney, The Star has launched three summer celebration event packages at Sydney’s newest rooftop bar, Sky Terrace.

Corporate event planners can choose from section hire up to 50 guests, half deck hire up to 200 guests or exclusive use of Sky Terrace for up to 1000 guests. The 3 hour food and beverage packages are on offer from $100 per person including, The Classic, Just Splurge and An Extravagant Affair.

Explaining the release of the exclusive packages, Jayson Heron, Director of Sales said “Last year was our first Sky Terrace season and it took Sydney by storm. This year we’re really excited to welcome it back again and we wanted to create something to make an event on Sky Terrace truly special.        


“As one of Sydney’s only rooftop event spaces and with sweeping views across Sydney Harbour it will make celebrating the end of the year or kicking off the New Year even more spectacular than before,” Mr Heron added.

Event planners have numerous hot, cold, substantial and sweet canapés to select, including freshly shucked oysters with chardonnay vinegar; Queensland Spanner crab, peanut praline, lemon and butter lettuce; Slow cooked beef short rib, porcini cream, pickled onion and parsley; caramelised pork, soft tortilla with apple coriander salad or Valrhona chocolate raspberry tarts.

Sky Terrace takes advantage of the expansive views over Sydney Harbour and the city skyline from the balcony of the state-of-the-art Event Centre. Guests can kick back and relax on Sky Terrace’s comfortable lounges with a cocktail or two while live DJs provide the perfect soundscape to the panoramic views over the harbour and city skyline.

Classic, Premium and Luxury beverage packages are also on offer from $45 per person.
