Special Report – EEAA’s test events at ICC Sydney a great success

By Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia, 12 December, 2016

What a privilege it was to hold our EEAA 2016 Welcome Reception, Conference and Awards for Excellence last week as official pre-opening test events at the new ICC Sydney.

With record attendances across all events, the EEAA has closed its members programs for 2017 on a high with great feedback for members and guests.

Over the two days, we heard from outstanding speakers and presenters who shared their insights to help Members increase their knowledge on current trends in the exhibition and event industry, as well as broader business sectors. Read more about the program below.

The Awards for Excellence spotlighted the outstanding achievements of our Members and I congratulate all our winners and finalists.

Video Highlights: Throughout our Conference and Awards, those who attended may have noticed we were recording the events. We have produced a special highlights video which is available for you to share. Click here to view the highlights video.

After three years, it was great to be back in Darling Harbour at this impressive new venue.

In the delivery of our end-of-year events, EEAA was generously supported by our events sponsors, partners, presenters, judges and suppliers. Thank you again – our success was the result of a collective effort.

If you have any additional feedback on our events or you would like to partner with us in 2017, please contact me or the team on 02 9413 9520 or memberservices@eeaa.com.au

There’ll be one more E-New before we close the office for the year – I know it’s been a big 2016 for our Members as it has for the Association.
