The preeminent charity, which strives for the relief of poverty and misfortune, particularly in regards to children, suffering from physical, intellectual and emotional disabilities, awarded Staging Rentals the honour for its generous service to the cause over the years.

The Golden Stave has worked tirelessly over 36 years to raise millions of dollars for those in need; and they’ve done this with the help of companies like Staging Rentals who have generously given time, resources and product to the production of various fundraising events.

David Comer, Managing Director of Staging Rentals & Construction, says he and the team have always been committed to giving back to the community to better the lives of others less fortunate.

“The Golden Stave has provided an exceptional platform for our music and entertainment industry to support others in our community.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure to be involved with such a professional, hardworking organisation whose work benefits so many. We are incredibly honoured to be recognised in this way,” said Mr Comer.

The Golden Stave hosts numerous events every year such as lunches, golf and gala evenings – all in order to raise money. The Trustees of the organisation include: Graham Fear (Chairman), Hon. Peter Anderson, Peter Hebbes AM, Shaun James, Maryanne Knight, Mick Mazzone, Lucy Turnbull AO and Richard Wilkins.
