The Venues Collection, Sydney’s newest hospitality and venue group has launched a new campaign pitched at event organisers to introduce six new special deals for new events booked at its destination venues, Campbell’s Stores at The Rocks and 12-Micron, Barangaroo.

Among the six offers, is a new Degustation experience available at its harbourside venue at Barangaroo, 12-Micron. A Vegan Degustation experience has also been created.

The company has also relaxed its Booking Terms to help provide assurance to the market that deposits will not be forfeited if the events need to be moved to another date within 2020 due to COVID-19 flow-on effects.

The Venues Collection Director, Philip Beauchamp said the new campaign was designed to stimulate the market and encourage organisers to continue holding events while respecting all health and safety protocols and policies of the Australian Government and the Chief Medical Officer.

“We understand that there is a high level of insecurity about committing to holding events – our aim is to send a strong message to the market that we will be flexible about Terms & Conditions and we will also give outstanding value for new bookings.” Mr Beauchamp said.

The new offer is available for new bookings for events held from March to 30 August 2020.

The prices are: Breakfast – $40pp; Lunch – $50pp; Day Conference – $70pp, Cocktail Reception – $70pp, Dinner – $75pp and a new Degustation offering for 12-Micron only – $140 (Food Only) $220 (Food & Wine).

In addition to the new events pricing model, The Venues Collection has also stepped up its sanitation measures to protect clients and staff.

“We understand that community and client expectations on safety protocols is at an unprecedented high and we have responded by stepping up and focussing staff and guest attention on this.

“All staff have been briefed on the new measures and additional servicing has been requested from contracted cleaners. In our premises at Barangaroo, Lend Lease has installed more hand sanitisers and additional cleaning.” Mr Beauchamp said.


The 7-course degustation menu is a three to four-hour experience delivered in the Private Dining Room at 12-Micron.

In response to a growing demand for Vegan meals, the Degustation Menu has also been created for Vegan dining.

Group Executive Chef Adam Head Adam Birtles says “When first taking over 12-Micron last year, we had requests from clients wanting the degustation experience so we decided to come up with this menu to maximise the potential of our private dining room.”

The Venues Collection headquarters is located at Barangaroo Tower One, Sydney. It operates Campbell’s Stores, 12 Micron, Athol Hall and Orso located in Mosman, Cropley House located in Baulkham Hills and The Woodlands and Harringtons Bar + Grill located in Harrington Park.
