Sydney integrated communications agency, Zadro, has been awarded this year’s public and media relations account for the region’s biggest business technology conference and exhibition – CeBIT Australia held at Sydney Olympic Park, 5 – 7 May.

CeBIT Australia presented by Deutsche Messe and organised by Hannover Fairs Australia, brings together the business technology community through a tradeshow, extensive education programs, a start-up conference and a gala night that celebrates winners of the CeBIT.AU Business Awards.

Felicity Zadro, Managing Director of Zadro stated, “A chief evangelist, a digital prophet, the former CTO of NASA, the founder of the Google Brain Project and previously one of the FBI’s Most Wanted hackers will kick off CeBIT Australia 2015, now in its 14th year.

“With such an impressive line-up of keynote speakers, we are certainly piquing a lot of interest about Asia Pacific’s most significant business technology fair,” said Ms Zadro.

CeBIT is the platform that provides practical education, connections and business launch pads for hundreds of businesses in the technology space.

Harvey Stockbridge, Managing Director of Hannover Fairs, said CeBIT Australia has an important role to play in supporting the transitioning of Australia to a knowledge-based economy.

“There is a lot of talk about the need to support start-ups and technology-based businesses; CeBIT provides the perfect platform for entrepreneurs, corporate decision makers, investors, the up and coming and those wanting to learn about the latest in our industry to meet, connect and engage.

“We are delighted to have the experienced team at Zadro on CeBIT this year to help promote the event and liaise with key stakeholders. They provide strong strategic support for us and have made a significant impact with media for us in a short period of time,” said Mr Stockbridge.

Over three days, CeBIT Australia 2015 will offer opportunities to hear from the world’s elite, and the ability to connect with thousands of visitors from Australia’s top companies, as well as more than 400 exhibitors and nearly 100 disruptive start-up innovators.

CeBIT Australia is also co-located with CeMAT AUSTRALIA the world’s leading tradeshow on intralogistics and materials handling. Never before held in Australia, this internationally renowned exhibition and conference also has a fantastic line-up of speakers, conference sessions and exhibitors on offer.

For CeMAT, Zadro is working with the Hannover Fairs Australian team to implement an integrated public relations strategy to engage all those interested and working within the logistics and warehousing industry.
